LOCK BARS FOR RETAINING THE KNIVES ON VINTAGE DELTA 6” JOINTERS
These are all new CNC machined carbon steel lock bars to secure the knives on Delta 6” jointers.
They are exact reproduction copies of the original lock bars on the vintage Delta jointer model numbers 37-205, 37-207, and 37-220.
They may very well fit other jointer brands and models, but the fitment is the responsibility of the purchaser.
Each bar is computer machined from .25 x .50 C1018 steel and measures 5.88” long.
Each bar is tapped in four (4) places at the correct angle for the 1/4-28 fine thread lock screws.
When we ran this last batch of bars, we improved the design by machining an additional clearance cut to create more room for the wrench at each screw.  This feature had been incorporated on our 8" lock bars, so we added it to the 6" bars as well.  The additional clearance cuts show in one of the photos of this listing.
The bars are sold in matched sets of three to complete the knife installation in one cutter head.
